To add a little less stress to our week my roommate and I decided not to cook but to order food from this Papa Johns by campus. The location of the store is very convenient because you don't have to leave campus to get it so Papa Johns is always our number one when it comes to pizza. We decided to get a large pepperoni pizza, the basics are the best, along with an order of chocolate chip cookies. We went inside to pick up our order because they offer Carryout and the service was great. The employees were nice and punctual and friendly which always makes you a little happier to spend your money. The food was great, the pizza being my favorite part because it was fresh and cheesy. Overall I enjoyed my visit and I will come again everytime.
I ordered a medium pizza with olives and green peppers from here last week and it was delicious. The delivery time was very reasonable, he took about 30 minutes to get to me and was very polite. I always enjoy my pizzas from here and have eaten Papa Johns's since I was little. I'm not sure of the Covid precautions they have as I have not been to the restaurant in person but the delivery driver was not wearing a mask so I'm assuming masks are not mandated for the workers. Overall great pizza and customer service!
This location has always given me great pizza. They are on time with orders, and staff is pretty friendly. I highly recommend this location.
I ordered in this Friday night and decided to get some pizza. Papa Johns is probably one of my favorite "mainstream" pizza places simply because of their complimentary pepperoncini that comes with every pizza. At this location, whenever I ask for an extra one, they always give me an entire bag! I usually get light tomato sauce on just a regular cheese pizza and smother it in pepperoncini juice.
Growing up in a predominately Italian family, the thought of eating fast food like pizza was completely out of the question. We would make pizza at home. But as the years went on and I grew older and older, the thought of making a pizza at home just isn't something that i necessarily look forward too as much as I did when I was younger. Some nights I just want to eat a fast food like pizza. crunchy thin crust with some minor grease stains on the box. Something about that experience calls my name (on occasion). Papa John's Pizza is located down the street from my apartment. (literately walking distance). It is around the same area as the CVS and the Circle K, right on the cusp of the UAB campus. After running errands all day yesterday with a friend of mine, I decided last night was the night to have some good old fashioned fast food like pizza. We decided on getting a meatlovers pizza which was delicious. Piled with all sorts of meats and delectables, it really did hit the spot. The service is fast and easy. I think I will be returning for sure.
Overall, this was a pretty good experience! This was my first time at the location. I ordered 2 pizzas for my suite mates and I, one large pepperoni and now large stuffed crust. It was ready relatively quickly and was fresh when I received it. The pizza was delicious too! The workers were all following COVID-19 protocols by wearing masks. I liked that these boxes could be recycled to maintain sustainable packaging. Would recommend this location, especially since it's so close to UAB (if you're a student)
